Daughter of Ptolemy I Soter and Berenice. She first married Lysimachus, next Ptolemy Ceraunus and finally her brother Ptolemy II Philadelphus, after convincing him to divorce and exile his first wife, Arsinoe I, daughter of Lysimachus.She was famous for her intelligence and dynamism. Thanks to her strong personality she was the first queen of non-eastern descent to be officially worshipped while still alive. She died in 270 BC.
