The President of the Foundation of the Hellenic World Mr. Lazaros Efraimoglou participated as a speaker in the event "Our Horizons", about the professional perspectives of young people, which took place on Saturday 12 December 2009.

Mr. Lazaros Efraimoglou, after a brief video presentation of his course as President and Creator of the Foundation, spoke about volunteerism as part of FHW's activities. The Foundation participated in the Exhibition of Refugee Organizations which also took place in the same event, with the aim to inform the public on issues that have to do with volunteerism and the promotion of its work.

In the event participated, among others, the sportswriter Mr. Vassilis Skountis, the wine producer Mr. Giannis Boutaris and the Manager for Public Relations for Antenna Group Ms Katerina Gagaki. At the Exhibition of Refugee Organizations the following participated: Amnesty International, Arcturos, SOS Children’s Villages, Fair Trade, KETHEA Strofi, KETHEA Nostos, ELIX, Scico, Praxis, Hamogelo tou Paidiou and Therapeutic Riding Association of Greece.
