The Foundation of the Hellenic World participated successfully in the International Exhibition of Convention Tourism IMEX 2009 in Frankfurt from the 25th to the 28th of May 2009. FHW presented to the international convention community the «THEATRON”, the new multifunctional cultural area of Hellenic Cosmos. The Foundation’s participation was made in cooperation with the Greek National Tourism Organization and Intercatering SA. FHW’s representatives made significant contacts, during which they presented the convention and cultural possibilities of the “THEATRON” and Hellenic Cosmos in general.
At ÉÌÅ× 2009 more than 3,700 hosted buyers and approximately 5,100 visitors had the opportunity to come into contact with market professionals from 157 countries and to be informed about all the tendencies of the world convention industry.
290 representatives of institutions from 33 countries attended the inauguration of the exhibition.
