The first official presentation of the Foundation of the Hellenic World's activities by the President of the Foundation Mr. Lazaros Efraimoglou, took place at the Hotel "Grande Bretagne" in Syntagma Square, at 20:00 on November 27, 1997.
The speech followed a grand reception in the halls of the Grande Bretagne, attended by people of the literary world, artists and members of the business world.
During the reception, the guests had the opportunity to navigate through the presentations of the Foundation on the Internet; visit ancient buildings through interactive digital representations (VRML); see 3D photorealistic representations, and finally, study family-trees of Hellenes from Asia Minor.
