The photographic material is an offer of the
Foundation of the Hellenic World
For the celebration of the "28th of October" at Arsakeio Psichikou, the first Lycium organised an event whose photographic material was an offer of the Foundation of the Hellenic World from the archives of the Cultural Centre, Hellenic Cosmos.
The material used to decorate the exhibition, was displayed on boards at the entrance of the school throughout the celebration of the anniversary.
The official celebration which took place on October 27th was a modern approach of national anniversaries celebrated at schools; the flag-bearers symbolized tradition and the attention of the public was aroused by the original theatrical narration of Elitis work, "Asma iroikon kai penthimo gia ton chameno antipolochago tis Alvanias" (Heroic and mournful song for the deceased lieutenant in Albania) from students of the first Lyceum.
