Isaac Argyros (1300-ca.1375): Mathematician, astronomer and theologian, student of Nikephoros Gregoras and the most important scholar and researcher on the astronomy of Ptolemeus. He wrote important works on mathematics and astronomy as well as three theological amti-Palamite treatises.
