Moschopoulos Manuel
Moschopoulos, Manuel: Writer and philologist of Constantinople around 1300. He was a nephew of the bibliophile bishop of the time, of Andronikos II, and of Nikephoros Moschopoulos. He was a student of Maximos Planoudes and a commentator (perhaps also a publisher) of the classical Greek poets. He also wrote a grammar of the ancient Greek language, a treatise on magic squares and a treatise against the Latins.
