Corinth. The remnants of a Corinthian peripteral temple thought to have been that of the Julian family (i.e. the leading family of Julius Caesar and Augustus, Corinth's founder). It is this temple that Pausanias must be alluding to in his description of "the temple of Octavia", for on its exterior there had been erected a sculpture of Octavia - Augustus' sister - as a symbol of the family.
