Cist graves constitute a less representative Minoan burial practice and is known mainly from the Cyclades. Cretan cist graves are restricted to the northern coast. The most important cist graves were found in Early Minoan sites with strong Cycladic influence in art as well, such as Mochlos, Pseira, Agia Photia and Zakros.
